Jim rose to the level of senior associate at two prestigious Buckhead and Dunwoody law firms, where he developed experience in a broad array of estate planning, complex civil litigation and real estate matters.
Jim has been named a “Super Lawyer” which is an honor only 5% of eligible attorneys receive. He has a 10.0 rating from Avvo, and his peers voted him to the highest Martindale Hubbell rating of “AV Preeminent”.
Jim is active with Wealthcounsel, Elder Law College, the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia, that National Association of Estate Planning Attorneys (NAELA), and the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
Education: Jim earned his Juris Doctor, with honors (cum laude), from the University of Georgia School of Law where he was Executive Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Justice/President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Kennesaw State University.
